Using Natural Treatments

In addition many of the essential oils are not designed to be used on open lesions and areas so using them with bleeding hemorrhoids as a hemorrhoid remedy can be very dangerous.
Using Specific Types of Liniments
There are specific types of liniments and rubs, including Vicks VapoRub, which has been advocated as an effective hemorrhoid remedy. The company itself clearly lists this as a topical lotion and it should not be used on any broken or inflamed area of the body.
Other liniments and rubs that have menthol or camphor should also be avoided for the same reasons.
Oral Supplements
Any type of hemorrhoid remedy that is taken orally is not going to have an effect on the actual swelling and pain of the hemorrhoid if it is a supplement. There are some medications, including anti-inflammatories and pain relievers that will help to somewhat minimize the painful sensations, but they are not actually treating or curing the hemorrhoid.
Instead of spending time trying the various hemorrhoid remedy suggestions from others, simply go in and see your doctor.
