Daniel 11 is the 11th chapter in the Book of Daniel, and contains one of the most fulfilled prophecies in the Bible, spanning over 375 years with amazing accuracy. In modern Christianity, Daniel’s vision in this book has been closely linked to events that occurred between the 2nd and the 3rd centuries, regarding the struggles between the King of the South and the king of the North for the control of Judea, a struggle that saw Seleucids eventually become victorious.
The angel tells Daniel that three more kings will arise in Persia until a fourth one arises. The fourth king, according to the angel, will be stronger, richer and will oppose the realm of Greece. This fourth king is fulfilled in Xerxes, the king of Persia.
