Campus Point Offers At-Home Living
Serving both Illinois State University apartments and neighboring Heartland Community College located in Normal, Illinois, the student-oriented community known as Campus Point offers well-furnished single, two, three, or four-bedroom smoke-free apartments. These apartments have a complete set of features that include leather-style furniture, flat-panel HDTV, free laundry, a fitness center, and a swimming pool. Residents are also allowed to have their beloved pets reside with them, which can benefit both the dog and the owner. At Illinois State University Apartments and Heartland Community College residences, there are per-person contracts that include high-speed internet in the agreements. These contracts usually run from August until July of the following year.
Having a hardwood-style floor that is easily cleaned, the kitchens have the usual appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. The living room offers a vaulted ceiling that conveniently has a ceiling fan. Also, a flat-panel HDTV is included in the spacious living area that is attractively and comfortably fitted with a leather-style couch and chairs, along with end tables and other items. The bedrooms in Campus Point apartments are single rooms with a private lockable entry. There are also private bathrooms connected to these bedrooms. These spacious bedrooms range from one well-furnished room with a bed to a four-bedroom apartment. Overnight guests may stay; however, there are limits on the number of guests and the days they stay. Students may park their vehicles for free; guests can also park, although spots are limited. For those who need public transportation, there is a Connect Transit Yellow Route bus stop that has service from 6:16 A.M. until 2:30 A.M. on weekdays and 7:00 A.M until 2:30 A.M. on weekends. Since Campus Point is only 11 minutes from campus, students can bicycle or drive to the ISU campus quickly.
